How much sleep?

How much sleep should a 9-13 male get each night?
Answer:
That varies from person to person. An adult should ideally get 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night. The younger you are, the more sleep you should get. I would guess at age 9-13 you should be aiming for 9 or more hours of sleep per night.

Again, everyone is different, though.

sleep needs do vary greatly among different age groups. Teens tend to have brains that are stimulated more and will tend to stay up late and sleep late. 10 hours of sleep is not unusual. The old 8 hours a night for everyone simply is not true. Elderly people sleep an average of 6 hours a night. Have a nice rest.
9 to 10 would be good to shoot for. once you get into adolescence, your hormones will turn your sleep pattern
upside down. get sleep while you can!
