How much water does the human body require each day?

This in summer and doing a reasonable ammount of exercise
Answer:
I am guessing as well ,i would say about 2 litres
I'm guessing maybe 1 litre and a half to 2 litres.
2 litres for the average man- but 70% of this comes from food. So if you drink 2 cups of coffee (dehydrates you)- then drink 5 cups of water/ juice.
A body needs 8 glasses of water per day, at every time of the year. When you are in the heat, doing exercises, losing lots of water, you need even more. Don't dehydrate yourself. If it is hard for you to drink that much tap water, just find a pure water drink that you DO like enough to drink that much. I drink Propel Water, and I love the grape flavor. Find a flavor you like, and keep drinking!
34 to 68 fluid ounces
I think the rule of thumb is 8 8oz glasses per day. However if it's summer and hot outside, more probably wouldn't hurt. You can test your hydration by the color of your urine. The lighter it is, the better hydrated you are. The goal is to be well hydrated, so I guess the right amount will probably vary from person to person. I usually drink about 100 oz per day (3 full 32oz Nalgene bottles).
ok... its really 8 glasses but if you sweat a loooot... you can drink more than that... maybe 12-15 glasses,,, Thats good!
i think its 6 pints of water at body temp i am told is best
1 part water 10 parts alcohol per day that should do you just fine
8 glasses
8 glasses of sky juice...
it also good for good complexion skin..
All this stuff about 8 glasses of water a day is a bunch of crap. Drink when you are thirsty. If I drank 8 glasses of water a day I'd spend the whole day in the bathroom. You can take extra care if you are sweating a lot due to exercise or the nature of your work, but a normal person DOES NOT need to drink that much water. You have to remember that most of your hydration comes from food, not what you drink.
Assuming a glass is about half a pint, then 8 glasses gives you very roughly 2 litres. But that's only a very vague guideline - there's no real 'average' amount, because there's no 'average' human body.
Drink when you're thirsty, naturally. But remember that thirst is your body's way of telling you that hydration levels are running below the optimum, and that it NEEDS water. The best policy is to keep a ready supply of water and sip at it regularly, That way you stay hydrated without needing to go to the loo every five minutes, but you'll never feel particularly thirsty.
I learned this a few years ago when I was posted on a job which involved working long hours in hot, humid conditions in late summer. I got through about 4 litres of bottled water each day but didn't need to visit the loo any more than usual. But I tell you what - all that water, combined with good sleep and healthy food, left me feeling really good!
is depend on individual. however, drink more plain water than the rest. 8 glasses at least.
is it 8 pints, i guess the more the better, i'm sure you won't drown
It depends on their surface area, clothing worn, the temperature and humidity and their level of exertion over the 24 hours.

Average for an average sized adult, to replace daily losses, would be 2 1/2 litres. This is made up of 1 1/2 litres which pass out though the kidneys and a further 1 litre lost through the skin and from the lungs.

A 5 mile run for example would use up an extra 3/4 of a litre.
to be completely healthy the minimum is a liter and a half but to be more effective up to 3.3 liter should be consumed each and every day. If more people would drink more water each day for their bodies, they would find that they would lose weight and be more healthy in the long run.
8 glasses per day
8 glasses of water
the minamum is about a pinet about a bottle of water but you should have lots more. energy drinks such as gatorade work alot better it gives you the nutrients you need.
drink as much as you can over a long period of time such as 24 hours.
6 pints of water a day is recomended
