How long a recovery period after Brachytherapy?

My dad is having brachytherapy on his prostrate on Thursday. What can I have ready to make him more comfortable when he gets home, and how long is the recovery period? My mom has some health issues herself, so I will be looking after them.

Hiya, Sorry to hear he has to have this done, however there are some amazing results from it, To be honest for the aftercare, best thing you can do is be there for him (and your mom) he will probably feel real drained to start with but that should wear off, I honestly wish him all the best, Pete
